How long does sharpening take?

For standard sharpening service, our pricing is as follows:

• $5: for a cutting edge up to 5 inches in length.

• Plus $1 per inch: for each additional inch over 5 inches.

Please note that if the blade is damaged or requires additional attention, pricing will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to contact us for a personalized quote based on your specific needs.

There are a few options for exchanging your knives, scissors, or tools that need sharpening:

• Customer Drop Off and Pickup: On your schedule, customers may drop off and pick up their items in one of our designated drop boxes. Please contact us via text or email upon dropping off your items. We will notify you when they are completed and ready for pickup.

• ABC Sharpening Services Pickup and Delivery: We offer a pickup and delivery service for your convenience. We will pickup your items, take them back to our location for sharpening, and return them to you once completed. A pickup and delivery fee may apply depending on location. Please inquire for more details.

• House Call: For your more urgent sharpening needs, we offer a house call service where we will come to your location to sharpen your items. This service incurs a fee, which may vary depending on your location. Contact us to schedule a house call and for pricing information.

Sharpening is completed using a first in, first out method, meaning our turnaround time depends on our current demand. However, we strive to provide quick service and can often complete sharpening the same day or next day.
